System Setup
[System] is selected on the General setup menu in step 4. See “General
Setup Operation” (page 91).
You can set the language for the display and voice of the system.
Setting item: Language
Setting contents: Select Dansk / Deutsch / English
(Initial setting) / Español / Français /
Italiano / Magyar / Nederlands / Norsk /
Polski / Português / Slovenčina / Suomi
/ Svenska / Türkçe / Čeština / Ελληνικά
/ русский язык
Allows you to select the displayed keypad screen: Alphabet or
QWERTY.
Setting item: Keypad
Setting contents: Alphabet (Initial setting) / QWERTY
Allows you to select the units for the entire system (km/m or mile/yard).
Setting item: Unit
Setting contents: Km (Initial setting) / Miles
You can switch the calendar display pattern to be shown when the time
is displayed.
Setting item: Date
Setting contents: DD.MM.YY (Initial setting) / YY/MM/DD
Y: shows the year
M: shows the month
D: shows the day
Clock Setup
[Clock] is selected on the General setup menu in step 4. See “General
Setup Operation” (page 91).
You can select the clock display type, 12-hour or 24-hour, depending on
your preference. If you set to Off, the clock is not displayed.
Setting item: 12H / 24H
Setting contents: 12H / 24H (Initial setting) / Off
Setting item: Daylight saving time
Setting contents: On / Off (Initial setting)
On: Place the Summer Time mode ON. The time advances
by one hour.
Off: Return to the ordinary time.
Set a time zone selection to display approximate time. When you set to
“Auto,” the system automatically adjust the time zone based on the
current position.
Setting item: Time zone
Setting contents: Auto (Initial setting) / GMT+0 / GMT+1 /
GMT+2 / GMT+3
