When you have crossed a border, the national flag is displayed.
• You can set to display or not to display the border guidance. See
“Setting the Border Guidance” (page 102).
The direction line can be displayed to indicate the direction from the
current position to the destination/waypoint.
• You can set to display or not to display the direction line. See
“Setting the Direction line Display” (page 101).
Voice Guidance
While you are driving along the route, voice guidance is provided
according to the driving conditions and the vehicle speed.
During guidance to the destination, the system automatically provides
voice guidance on intersections, turnings, waypoints, motorway
entrance/exit ramps, junctions, the arrival at the destination, etc. “Voice
guidance examples” are only typical examples. The voice guidance may
vary depending on traffic conditions. Use the voice guidance examples
for reference only.
• You can adjust the volume of the voice guidance. (See “Navi
Guidance Volume Adjustment” on page 92.)
General road intersection voice guidance
Intersection announcements to turn left or right are voice guided while
driving on the route.
Example of voice guidance
• In 200 m, right turn.
• Right turn.
Motorway divergence voice guidance
The direction is voice guided and a screen is displayed in large scale at
the divergence while driving the route on a motorway.
Example of voice guidance
• In 2 km, keep right.
• Your destination is in 1 km.
• Approaching the destination.
• You have a arrived at your destination.
• Ferry port.
• Car train terminal.
The voice message is repeated by pressing the <NAV> button.
• When the guide volume is set to OFF (VOL 0), voice guidance is not
performed even if the <NAV> button is pressed.
