Finding the Nearest Points of Interest
(POI)
You can search for facilities in the vicinity of the current position,
destination, or route, based on a genre.

Touch [Nearest POI] on the Destination screen.
The Nearest Points of Interest screen is displayed.
• Refer to “Displaying the Destination Menu Screen”
(page 30) on how to display the Destination Screen.

Touch [Nearest to you], [Near to destination] or
[Along route].
a Nearest to you:
Searches for facilities in the vicinity of the current position.
b Near to destination:
Searches for facilities in the vicinity of the destination.
c Along route:
When the destination is set, searches for facilities along the
route.
The Select category screen appears.

Touch the desired category.
• When “All categories” is selected, all categories are
displayed in the list. Touch the desired category.
The Select sub category screen appears.

Touch the desired subcategory.
The Select Points of Interest screen appears.

Touch the desired POI.
• You can arrange the POI list by alphabetical order or by
distance. Touch [Alphabet] or [Distance].
The screen when [Nearest to you] is selected.
The screen when [Near to destination] is selected.
The screen when [Along route] is selected.
• Facilities near motorways cannot be searched.
The Confirm destination screen appears.

Touch [OK].
The system will begin calculating the route.
