Arranges Waypoints manually
You can arrange waypoints.

Touch [Edit waypoints] on the Edit route screen.
The Edit waypoints screen is displayed.
• Refer to “Displaying the Edit Route Screen” (page 46) on
how to display the Edit route screen.

Touch the waypoint you want to move to select it.

Touch [ ] or [ ] to move up or down the selected
waypoint.
Each time you touch [ ], the waypoint moves up. Each
time you touch [ ], the waypoint moves down.

Touch [OK].
The system begins calculating a new route.
• The system arranges waypoints including ones that you have already
passed through, although the guidance on them is not provided.

The navigation system allows you to view the entire route so that you
can verify the navigation system’s route calculation.

Touch [See route summary] on the Edit route screen.
The entire route is displayed on a map with a large enough
view that you can see the entire route.
• Refer to “Displaying the Edit Route Screen” (page 46) on
how to display the Edit route screen.
• You can scroll and rotate the displayed map, and can
change the magnification of the displayed map.

When you touch [ ], the system returns to the Edit
route screen.
Change Method
Change Method allows you to select the way the system calculates the
drive to your destination.

Touch [Change method] on the Edit route screen.
The Change method screen is displayed.
• Refer to “Displaying the Edit Route Screen” (page 46) on
how to display the Edit route screen.

Touch the desired route calculating method and road
preference.

Touch [OK].
The system begins calculating a new route.

Start Demo
You can watch a demonstration of the navigation system’s voice and
screen guidance by using this function. The vehicle position icon will
automatically move along the desired route showing a simulation of
how the navigation system functions. Use this function only while the
car is parked.

Touch [Start Demo] on the Edit route screen.
The demo for the current route begins.
• Refer to “Displaying the Edit Route Screen” (page 46) on
how to display the Edit route screen.

To stop the demo mode, press <MENU> or <NAV>.
The system stops the demo mode when you start driving.
• You cannot scroll the map or perform the destination search during
the demo mode.
• The demo can be activated only when a destination has already been
set.
