Visual EQ Setup Operation

Press <MENU>.

When the NAVIGATION menu is displayed, touch the
[AUDIO/VISUAL] tab.
Or, press <MENU> to switch the tab.

Touch [Visual setup].
The Visual setup screen is displayed.
To set up a Visual source, proceed to step 4.
To set up a Navigation/Audio source, proceed to step 6.

Touch [ ] or [ ] to change its setting.
Setting item: Visual EQ
Setting contents: Flat (Initial setting) / Night movie / Soft /
Sharp / Hi contrast
Flat: Initial Setting
Night movie: Suitable for movies in which dark scenes
frequently appear.
Soft: Suitable for CGs and animated films.
Sharp: Suitable for old movies where images are not
clearly shown.
Hi contrast: Suitable for recent movies.
To make more detailed setting changes, proceed to step
5.
To complete the setting, proceed to step 7.

Touch [Custom] to display the detailed setting
screen.

Touch [ ] or [ ] to change its setting.
Setting item: Bright, Contrast, Colour, Tint, Sharpness
Depending on the source, the available setting items
vary.
Visual source: Bright, Contrast, Colour, Tint, Sharpness
Navigation/Audio source: Bright, Contrast

Touch [ ].
The system returns to the previous screen.
If you have changed Bright, Contrast, etc. in step 6, Visual EQ is
displayed as “Custom”.
You can set up Visual EQ only for the current Visual source.
For how to adjust the picture quality when connected to a rear
camera, see “Adjusting the picture quality of the Rear Camera
screen” (page 93).
