Finding by Address
If you know the address of the destination, the system can calculate a
route to that address.

Touch [Address search] on the Destination screen.
The Address search screen is displayed.
• Refer to “Displaying the Destination Menu Screen”
(page 30) on how to display the Destination Screen.

The street/city name input table for the destination
appears. Input the city (locality) name.
When you touch [Street], input the street name.
• For how to input characters, see “Using the On-Screen
Keyboard” (page 21).
• When 1 character/numeral is input, the candidates for the
next character/numeral are narrowed down (and the
others are shaded).
• If your destination is located in other country than that
currently selected, be sure to change the country of
search. (See page 30)
• You can touch [List] to display the candidate list.
Touch [City list] to display the candidate list of the city
name. Touch [Last 5 cities] to display the search history
up to 5 cities. Touch the desired city name.
• You can enter the street name only or the city name only
to search. When you enter only a city name, all the streets
in that city will be searched. When you enter only a street
name, it will be searched from all the cities in the country
selected.
• When you enter a city name, candidate city names are
displayed in accordance with touching a character for
entry.

Touch [OK].

A list of street names will be displayed. Touch the
desired street name.
• You can search by Locality name, and the system
searches all streets in the city.
• If there are other streets with the same name in other
cities when the desired street name is searched for in “All
cities” mode, the list of the city names will be displayed.
Touch the desired city name.
• If further searching is not possible, the Confirm
destination screen is displayed. Proceed to step 6. If two
or more addresses are found, they are displayed in the
list. The Confirm Destination is displayed after you
choose a desired destination.

The house number input table appears. Input the
house number, and touch [OK].
• Your desired destination can be searched for more
precisely by inputting the house number.
• If two or more addresses are found, they are displayed in
the list. The Confirm destination screen appears after you
choose a desired destination.
The Confirm destination screen appears.

Touch [OK].
The system will begin calculating the route.
