By selecting the mode in the Changing the Display
Mode section (see page 27), the display shows the
status of the broadcasting stations that have been
received as follows:
Ensemble/Service Label Display: the Ensemble/
Service Label of received station is displayed.
Service/Component Label Display: the Service/
Ensemble Label is displayed for 2 seconds, and then
the display is changed to the Service/Component Label
after receiving the broadcasting station.
Dynamic Label Display: the Service/Ensemble Label is
displayed for 2 seconds, and then the display is
changed to the Dynamic Label after receiving the
broadcasting station.
NOTE
If no ensemble is received, the one that has been received before
you perform this automatic memorization is received.
PTY (Programme Type) Tuning
1 Press the F/SETUP button so that "FUNC" will
illuminate.
2 Press the 2/PTY button to go to the PTY Select mode.
3 Press the or button or move the Flipper
switch up or down to select your desired programme
type.
4 After selecting a programme type, and when the
"FUNC" indicator will illuminate, press the 2/PTY button
to go to the PTY Search mode.
The selected programme type is searched for.
NOTE
To cancel the PTY Search mode during the PTY search, press
the 2/PTY button.
5 When the station is received, the received programme
type is displayed for 5 seconds. If no station is found,
NO PTY is displayed for 2 seconds. Then, the
selected programme type will be displayed for 3
seconds and the PTY mode will end.
NOTES
Above functions can be performed only for services within an
Ensemble.
PTY selected here is reflected to the RDS broadcast.
Receiving the Memorized Service
1 Press the BAND/TEL. button to select your desired
band.
2 Press one of the Preset buttons (1 through 6).
The selected service is received.
By selecting the mode in the Changing the Display
Mode section (see page 27), the display shows the
status of the broadcasting stations that have been
received as follows:
Ensemble/Service Label Display: the Ensemble/
Service Label of received station is displayed.
Service/Component Label Display: the Service/
Component Label after receiving the broadcasting
station.
Dynamic Label Display: the Service/Ensemble Label is
displayed for 2 seconds, and then the display is
changed to the Dynamic Label after receiving the
broadcasting station.
NOTE
When you receive the Secondary Service Component, you
memorize the service, but when you call out this memorized
service, the Primary Service Component will be called out.
Memorizing the Ensemble Automatically
1 Press the BAND/TEL. button to select the band that
you want to receive.
2 Press and hold the TUNE/A.ME button for at least 2
seconds.
The ensemble is searched for, and six ensembles are
automatically received and memorized with the preset
buttons (1 through 6).
When memorization has completed, the Ensemble that
was memorized last is received.
