To cancel the AMP status screen, touch [VISUAL].
The VISUAL screen appears.

Touch [NORMAL].
The screen returns to the normal screen.
AMP Link Lock Function
This setting has a function that prevents accidental adjustment of the
INPUT GAIN in order to prevent speaker damage.

Touch and hold [RETURN] for at least 3 seconds on
the AMP SETUP screen.
The LOCK mode is turned on, and the setting mode for
INPUT GAIN becomes inactive when the AMP SETUP
screen is displayed, and “LOCK” is displayed in the setting
content next time.
To be functional the setting mode for INPUT GAIN, the
LOCK mode is canceled by touching and holding
[RETURN] for at least 3 seconds on the AMP SETUP screen.
When an external audio processor is connected to this unit, you can
operate it from this unit. Some audio processors may not be operated.
When PXA-H510 or PXA-H900 is connected, some of the operations
may not be performed from this unit. In this case, operate them in the
connected product. Explanations below is the case when PXA-H700 or
PXA-H701 is connected for example.
Refer also to the operating instructions of the connected audio
processor.
The adjustments or settings performed on the connected audio
processor cannot be operated properly from this unit.
The setting “Setting the Speakers”, “Setting Bass Sound Control”,
and “Graphic Equalizer Adjustments” are not available if the MRA-
D550 is connected. Also, the setting content differs between the PXA-
H700 and PXA-H701.
Adjustment Procedure for Dolby
Surround
Make the adjustments described below in order to reproduce Dolby
Digital and DTS sound with greater accuracy.
Adjustment procedure
In case of combining the Automatic adjustments etc.
We recommend to make the Automatic adjustments before the Dolby
Surround adjustments.
External Audio Processor
(Optional)
The Parking Brake must be engaged to access the Audio
Processor mode screen. Attempting to access this screen while
driving will display the warning-CAN’T OPERATE WHILE
DRIVING.
