Random Play Shuffle (M.I.X.)
The Shuffle function of the iPod/iPhone is displayed as M.I.X. on this
unit.
Shuffle Albums:
The songs on each album are played back in proper order. Upon
completion of all the songs on the album, the next album is selected
randomly. This continues until all albums have been played.
Shuffle Songs:
Song shuffle randomly plays back songs within a selected category
(playlist, album, etc.). The songs within the category are played just
once until all songs have been played.

The songs are played back in random sequence.

To cancel M.I.X. play, select (off) with the above procedure.
Note
If a song is selected in the album search mode before selecting M.I.X.
play, the songs will not play back randomly even when Shuffle Albums
is selected.
Shuffle All:
Shuffle All plays all songs in the iPod/iPhone randomly. Any one song
does not play back again until all songs have been played back.

Press ENTER to activate the search selection mode.

Turn the Rotary encoder to select Shuffle All, and then
press ENTER.
To cancel M.I.X. play, press 5x to select OFF.
Note
If Shuffle All is selected, the selected songs being played back in the
search mode are cancelled.
Repeat Play
Only Repeat One is available for the iPod/iPhone.
Repeat One:
A single song is repeatedly played back.

Press z 4.
The song is played back repeatedly.

To cancel repeat play, select (off) with the above
procedure.
Note
Depending on the connected iPod, track up/down may be not available
during Repeat play.
vTuner is your guide to Internet streamed media. The vTuner platform
connects your Internet enabled iPhone to the wide world of streamed
music, talk, etc.
Notes
Some of the vTuner application functionality for iPhone or iPod touch is
not available when using the CDE-148EBT/CDE-145E.
vTuner is also usable from an iPod touch with Wi-Fi connection.
Be aware that the vTuner function will consume your communication
fee.
The vTuner source can be displayed only when Alpine APP is set to
USB. For details, refer to “Setting the communication mode with a
smartphone (Alpine APP)” on page 27.
Listening to vTuner

Launch the vTuner Application on the iPhone.

Press VSOURCE to switch to the vTuner mode.

To pause playback, press .
Pressing again will resume playback.
If the broadcasting programme is not transmitted by streaming
media, when playback is continued, it will begin at the position
it was paused.
Note
vTuner audio could drop out in areas with poor phone coverage.
Storing the desired station to Favourite List
You can store a station to the Favourite List by following steps.
Press when the station you want to store is
broadcasting.
The N indicator will light up after the station is added to
Favourite List successfully.
Fail will be displayed if the station fails to be added to Favourite
List or while the Favourite List is full you want to add station to it.
Note
The number of stations that can be added to the Favourite List depends
on the vTuner application.
