Makes Driving Safe and Easy
Alpine’s “GUI for Drivers” features intuitive, easy-to-read
displays and menu interface. All you do is input an
address, intersection, point of interest or destination
from your address book. The system plots the best
route and provides turn-by-turn voice instructions that
guide you smoothly to your destination. Simplified arrow
and intersection displays effortlessly navigate you
through complex intersections.
Over Six Million Points of Interest!
In addition to finding restaurants and gas stations,
the DVD-ROM’s database allows you to find car
audio stores, coffee shops, hardware stores and
many other destinations. The SmartMap Pro DVD-
ROM stores up to 8.5 gigabytes of mapping and
point of interest information, making your car a virtu-
al yellow pages on wheels!
Alpine has many displays to choose from, ranging from
mild to wild! Whether you choose a simple, dedicated
navigation display or a full-blown Mobile Multimedia
Station, each display delivers sharp and clear images
for your viewing pleasure.

ruggedized DVD-ROM drive that's designed to with-
stand the temperature, vibration and moisture
extremes of the vehicle environment. In addition to the
DVD-ROM drive, the PowerNav's three map-matching
sensors — Global Position System (GPS) receiver,
speed and electronic gyro are also capable of surviv-
ing the harsh winters of North Dakota and a scorching
summer drive through Death Valley, California.
