Adjusting and Storing the Crossover
Before performing the following procedures, refer to
About the Crossover(Page 9)
1 Press and hold the T.CORR button for at least 3
seconds.
< 2 WAY System >
2 Press the BAND button to select desired parameter.
3 Press the g DN button or the f UP button to
select desired cut-off frequency point(cross over point).
Adjustable frequency bands: 20Hz to 200Hz (in 1/3
octave steps)
4 Press the SOURCE button to select desired slope.
Adjustable slope: FLAT(OFF),6, 12, 18 or 24 dB/oct.
5 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired output
level.
Adjustable output level: -12 to 0 dB.
To store the adjusted contents
1) Press and hold any one of the Preset buttons (1
through 6) for at least 2 seconds into which you wish
to store the adjusted curve.
6 For setting another channel, repeat the steps 2 to 5.
7 After setting, press the T.CORR button to return to the
normal mode.
NOTES
Crossover mode is automatically cancelled if no buttons are
pressed within 15 seconds.
To cancel Crossover mode for all music source, press the
MODE button to turn Crossover off.
When the ALPINE Digital Audio Processor is connected to
the Digital Output Connector, the Equalizer, Crossover, Bass
Focus, Time Correction and MX (Media Xpander) functions
cannot be used in the built-in CD mode.
The functions on the connected Digital Audio Processor side
take preference.
< 3 WAY System >
2 Press the BAND button to select desired parameter.
3 Press the g DN button or the f UP button to
select desired cut-off frequency point(cross over point).
Adjustable frequency bands:
LOW : 20Hz to 200Hz (in 1/3 octave steps)
MID-L: 20Hz to 200Hz (in 1/3 octave steps)
MID-H: 20Hz to 20KHz (in 1/3 octave steps)
HIGH : 1KHz to 20KHz (in 1/3 octave steps)
4 Press the SOURCE button to select desired slope.
Adjustable slope: FLAT(OFF)
, 6, 12, 18 or 24 dB/
oct.
FLAT cannot be set for the HIGH slope.
5 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired output
level.
Adjustable output level: -12 to 0 dB.
To store the adjusted contents
1) Press and hold any one of the Preset buttons (1
through 6) for at least 2 seconds into which you wish
to store the adjusted curve.
6 For setting another channel, repeat the steps 2 to 5.
7 After setting, press the T.CORR button to return to the
normal mode.
NOTES
About the 2way/3way system
You can switch to 2way/3way system mode with the 2way/
3way switch on the side of the unit.(See on page 51)
When setting to “3 WAY ”:
The unit can be operated in 3 way system.
When setting to “F/R Sub. W ”:
The unit can be operated in 2 way system.
Crossover mode is automatically cancelled if no buttons are
pressed within 15 seconds.

Recalling the Stored Crossover
Settings
1 Press and hold the T.CORR button for at least 3
seconds.
2 Press the any one of the Preset buttons (1 through 6)
that have your desired crossover settings in memory.
