High Power Handling

Alpine’s new Type-G coaxial speakers are

designed and built to handle high power levels.

Ease of Installation

Snap Fit tweeter, swivel mount, and flush install bracket

make installation easy. The crossover network is small

and can be separated into two parts to further reduce

size and allow use of factory wiring.

Good Sound Quality

They deliver good sound quality, due to a soft dome

tweeter, square voice coil wire with Kapton VC and an

audio tuned capacitor.

Type-S Subwoofers

If you want to upgrade the sound of your system, adding a subwoofer should

be one of your main priorities. Type-S subwoofers have earned a strong

reputation for delivering powerful, accurate bass with consistent quality over

long periods of time. An additional benefit is that they have a shallow design

which allows installation even in difficult locations.

Frequency crossover network can be separated into two parts.

Versatile Crossover Networks

Type-G networks provide more functions than others in this class, with an adjustable

tweeter circuit and a 6dB woofer circuit. A second connector allows the crossover to

be separated, providing greater flexibility and convenience when installing the speaker.

Swivel Tweeters (for Component Speakers)

Type-G tweeters are extremely small, but very high quality. Both

flush swivel and surface swivel types are available, for greater

installation flexibility and higher sound quality.

Install the woofer and tweeter in separate

(optimal) locations, without the hassle of

re-wiring the whole system.
